We need substitutes for:

• Our three districts

  There, regardless of placement, you will be one of about 10-15 district nurses/nurses who work together to improve our citizens' everyday lives by providing home healthcare in ordinary housing. The work is mostly during the day, with weekend shifts included.

• Our Short-Term Department

  Patients come here, both from the hospital and home, who need extra support for a shorter period. Together with three nursing colleagues, you will be responsible for the short-term operations during the day. The work in short-term care involves patients coming for a short period where interdisciplinary care is provided, as well as assessing future needs.

• Our elderly care homes

  Individuals who have such high care needs that they cannot manage at home with the help of home care move here. This may be due to physical ailments, dementia, or the individual not feeling safe at home. You will be responsible, together with a nursing colleague, for care at the facility during the day, Monday to Friday.

• Evening and Night

  Our evening and night team works throughout Skövde Municipality in districts, short-term departments, and elderly care homes.

As a nurse, you work in a team-oriented manner. The tasks are varied and include, among other things, medication distribution, injections, wound care, sampling, rehabilitation, or other care depending on your experience. You also mentor care staff based on a collaborative approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a strong interest in working with people, where you in your role are independent, secure, and attentive. We believe that you enjoy collaborating with others, have a learning approach, and are resourceful and creative.

To work as a nurse with us, you also need to:

• Be a licensed nurse and/or district nurse (or have completed your degree and have your license on the way)
• A driver's license B is required for work in districts or evening and night shifts.
