The Care Office is responsible for services for the elderly and people with disabilities. We work on behalf of the Care Committee and the Elderly Care Committee. You will belong to the Digitalization Unit, which is part of the Care Office's staff. The workgroup consists of colleagues who are system administrators, IT coordinators, and technicians.

Your tasks

As one of the business strategists within the Care Office's staff, you will support the organization in digitalization issues and work according to the Care Office's portfolio for digitalization.
Through creativity and engagement, you will participate in the work to ensure that the organization's services are delivered and are valuable to users. The role has a particular focus on digitalization and the transition to new working methods.  
You will be responsible for driving various exploratory projects within the Care Office, where the goal is to implement pilots and test new working methods or new tools related to digitalization. You have an eye for how changes in the organization and the outside world can affect operations in various ways. You develop strategies and working methods to meet these. You are used to working with benefit calculations and change.  Some examples of work areas: 

- Lead projects and activities that are part of the Care Office's portfolio for digitalization  
- Supervise the digITeam, the Care Office's team that tests and evaluates new working methods for the Care Office's operations. 
- Coordinate activities together with the IT unit 
- Coordinate and represent the Care Office in municipal-wide activities and projects related to digitalization  
- Lead environmental monitoring of the area  
- Citizen dialogue with the municipal pensioners' council and disability council

Requirements:
- We are looking for someone with relevant higher education in the field or other academic education that the employer deems relevant for the position. 
- Has knowledge and several years of experience in change and project management. 
- You have knowledge of services aimed at the elderly and people with disabilities and have experience working in a politically governed organization. 
- Have experience and knowledge of technology in care and support.

Personal qualities:
- As a person, you are driven and proactive, see what needs to be done and act on it. 
- You are responsible, have good collaboration skills, and have an open approach and are adaptable to changing circumstances. 
- The work requires good communication skills. br />- You easily create good relationships and trust. 
- You are used to working independently and contribute to good innovative collaboration. 
- You have good knowledge of the area of digitalization related to care and support and the challenges and opportunities that come with new working methods.  

Meritorious:
- It is meritorious if you have experience in business development. 
- It is meritorious if you have knowledge in medical technology, legal issues, and/or
- It is meritorious if you have experience with pilot projects or implementation projects of digital technology in care or support.

The Digitalization Unit at the Care Office is located in the modern premises of the city hall near the center and communications. We offer the possibility of remote work part of the time.
