About the Position

We are looking for an Accounting Economist for an educational institution in Stockholm! In this role, you will work with project accounting, ongoing bookkeeping, year-end closing, and project reporting. The job also includes tasks related to follow-up with project managers and providing support to the institution's researchers on financial matters.

Assignment Period and Scope:

The position of Accounting Economist is a full-time consulting assignment starting on 2026-01-12 and is expected to last until 2026-03-31.

Requirements for the Position:

University degree in economics or equivalent education and at least three (3) years of work experience in a similar role. Alternatively, high school or equivalent education in the relevant field and five (5) years of work experience as an accounting economist.
Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
Good knowledge of relevant accounting systems (e.g., Unit 4 ERP, Raindance, Visma, etc.).
Experience in public accounting.
Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
