Your tasks will involve assisting in drafting proposals for regulations and conducting legal investigations. You will also assist other units of the Ministry of Culture with advice on legal matters in areas such as media, democracy, culture, cultural heritage and cultural environment, national minorities, archives, copyright, and certain AI issues. It may also be relevant to assist in tasks in other units of the ministry. Several of the ministry's areas of responsibility concern fundamental rights and freedoms.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with other case officers within the unit and the Government Offices. The role involves many points of contact and collaboration with other ministries. We offer a job that is developing and varied.

Your Background

We are looking for someone who has a law degree. You have a good ability to make legal analyses as well as to overview entire areas of law. You have a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English.

It is an advantage if you have experience from an internship at the Ministry of Culture or at a legal secretariat within the Government Offices.

Your Qualities

We are looking for an engaged lawyer, preferably at the beginning of your legal career. In our operations, which are influenced by the outside world, a high degree of flexibility and the ability to quickly change focus and work under time pressure while maintaining quality is required. You enjoy both collaborating with others and working independently. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
