About the position

As HR Section Manager, you will lead an engaged section with eight employees, including the manager, where the payroll function and work environment are also included. You will report to the Head of Operational Management and Support and have overall responsibility for both strategic and operational HR work in line with the company's goals and guidelines.

Your role

In this role, you will lead, develop, and drive the HR section as well as the work environment efforts throughout the organization. You play a central role in the change work within corporate culture, leadership, employee engagement, and safety culture, contributing to creating an attractive work climate.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing the HR section and work environment efforts, with budget responsibility for the area
• Developing HR strategies, policies, and routines that support the organization's goals
• Supporting management and leaders in labor law issues, negotiations, and change processes
• Ensuring competence supply, wage formation, and organizational development for approximately 270 employees
• Collaborating with external partners and contacts including authorities, employer organizations, etc.

Your profile

• Academic degree in HR, personnel science, or similar
• At least 10 years of experience in qualified HR work, several years as an HR manager
• Solid experience in labor law, collective agreements, and negotiations
• Experience in broad strategic HR work and cultural work
• Experience from various industries, advantageous with both private and public sectors

We also see that you have the following qualifications:

• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Experience in implementing HR systems and good system skills, preferably in HR systems and Office packages
• Driving license B
• Experience from organizations with both salaried employees and collective employees

About SRV

SRV Recycling AB is a limited company owned by five municipalities in Södertörn: Huddinge, Haninge, Botkyrka, Salem, and Nynäshamn. The municipalities have tasked SRV with managing the collection and handling of household waste. The operations include the collection and processing of recyclable materials, fuel, and waste, as well as landfilling. We currently have about 270 employees and receive approximately 200,000 tons of waste each year, with a turnover of 552 million SEK (2023). SRV collects waste from about 154,000 households in the owner municipalities. The company also has 3,000 business and operational customers – ranging from small and large companies to housing associations, preschools, and organizations.

SRV Recycling has a large recycling facility at Gladö Kvarn in Huddinge. The facility is the largest in Sweden by area. We also operate seven recycling centers, primarily for households, within the five owner municipalities.
