The Gynecology Operating Department in Lund is part of the Obstetrics and Gynecology business area. We are a dedicated and positive team of employees. In our department, we perform gynecological and obstetric surgeries, both elective and emergency, and operate around the clock. We are the center for gynecological tumor surgery in the Southern healthcare region and partially utilize robotic surgery. It is a natural part of our work to continuously stay updated in robotic surgery as well as major open surgery.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Your work follows the functional description for operating room nurses in Sweden. This means that operating room nurses have advanced nursing knowledge that enables them to work independently and lead development within surgical nursing. Additionally, it means possessing all six core competencies: person-centered care, teamwork, evidence-based care, improvement knowledge and quality development, safe care, and informatics.

QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome you as a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare and who has a specialist degree in surgical nursing. Proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s language scale is a requirement. If you have previous experience as an operating room nurse, we see it as a significant advantage. We also prefer that you have prior work experience in women's health and/or emergency care, good computer skills, and knowledge of the medical record systems Melior and Orbit.
