You will have the opportunity to participate in specialized emergency care alongside competent doctors and nursing staff. Currently, we have 26 care places and 2 intermediate care places (IMA) at AVA. The care consists of taking care of patients with expected short hospital stays. We care for patients with varying medical and surgical nursing needs, from young to multi-sick elderly who have become acutely ill. AVA is a great department to develop in, for both newly graduated and experienced nurses and is a popular department among students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In your future role as a nurse at AVA, you will work in a team close to doctors, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists where the patient is the focus. We work with short hospital stays and rapid changes in the care process, all based on what is best for the patient. We place great value on team spirit in the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required.

In our emergency care department, it is important that you can work both independently and in a team. We value that you have a strong desire to learn and develop.
