About Us

In 2024, the short-term unit moved to newly renovated premises on Nöbbelövsvägen in Lund.

We offer 28 short-term places for individuals after hospital stays who need rehabilitation before they can return to regular housing. The short-term unit has a strong focus on rehabilitation, outdoor activities, and health-promoting measures. We have invested significantly in an appealing outdoor environment, including a conservatory, barbecue area, and outdoor gym. Our goal is for 50% of our activities to take place outdoors!

The team includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, a unit manager for SoL staff, a unit manager for licensed personnel, an administrator, a coordinator, and a facilitator.

Job Responsibilities

At our short-term unit, teamwork, collegiality, and joy at work are prominent. The work environment and tasks provide you with all the opportunities to develop in your profession. The assignment is complex, and many colleagues have worked at the unit for a long time and possess high competence. Together, we coordinate and plan the collective health and medical care efforts for the patients.

We Offer You

Daytime work Monday-Friday with weekend duty every 8th weekend (on weekends, nurses work together in weekend cooperation based out of St Södergatan in Lund).

An introduction based on your conditions where you will be trained in our quality systems. Your introduction also includes shadowing and a competence development plan for sustainability and security in your employment.

Cross-municipal training before delegation. Each training session ends with a digital knowledge test to ensure adequate knowledge for the task. This provides you as a nurse with a basis in the delegation process so that you can feel secure in your decisions.

You are welcome to visit and shadow for half or a full day to get an impression of our operations.

We Are Looking For You Who

is a licensed nurse. You feel secure and independent in your profession. You have a solution-focused, communicative, and rehabilitative approach with engagement and interest in working with people; patients as well as colleagues. You are positive about new challenges, enjoy a bit of pace, and appreciate teamwork. You have good computer skills, are structured and meticulous, and can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. A B driver's license is required. Previous experience in municipal health and medical care is an advantage.
