As a dietitian with us, you will be part of the Hässleholm area within Primary Care, with a shared position between Perstorp and Tyringe, two pleasant locations close to nature, good commuting opportunities, and stable health care units with strong local ties. Within the primary care dietitian service, we work closely with patients and the care team to promote health and prevent illness through individually tailored dietary and nutritional treatment. Here, you will be part of a large and competent group of dietitians in Region Skåne, while also enjoying the personal and varied daily work that smaller locations offer.

The dietitian service is organized within public primary care. We are 43 employees working within public health care units, specialized palliative care, and a children's and youth clinic. This means a large group of dietitian colleagues of varying ages and backgrounds with extensive expertise in multiple diagnoses and conditions, as well as in preventive work. We have close collaboration, so access to colleagues' combined expertise is a fantastic opportunity and support.

Working as a dietitian in Primary Care is very rewarding and fun. It is never boring! I work with everyone from small children to the elderly with various diagnoses, so you learn a lot. We also have several educational opportunities; our manager is very open to us pursuing education if we see a need or feel like deepening our knowledge in something. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of dietitian, you will work with diet and nutrition, both in prevention and treatment, across varying ages, conditions, and diagnoses. You will work with patients both individually and in groups. We conduct dietitian-led clinics for follow-up after obesity surgery, as well as targeted health talks for people in their 40s and 50s.

Additionally, you will provide support and continuing education in the area of nutrition to other healthcare personnel by working in our Helpdesk, Dietitian Direct, for primary care staff in Region Skåne and developing informational materials.

- I appreciate the freedom to organize my workdays and influence my role. I have the opportunity to lead various groups, such as those focused on overweight or Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), or conduct individual consultations. Moreover, the management and my colleagues are fantastic! Even though I work alone in my role at the health center, I have a large network of other dietitian colleagues, and there are always competent colleagues just a call or email away, says Hanna.

An important collaboration is the local work at the workplace and cooperation with other professions. Being part of the workgroup and sharing and spreading the expertise of your own profession is essential. Dietary and nutritional treatment via digital technology is another area of development, and we are also exploring opportunities to work from home to some extent.

As a newcomer, you will receive an introduction at the workplace, shadow a dietitian colleague, and be assigned a mentor.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed dietitian with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is required.

Since you are part of our team, your personal qualities are of great importance. As a person, you enjoy taking responsibility and making your own decisions. We also see that you have a good ability to adapt to changing circumstances and can balance independent work with teamwork. Other valuable qualities include being structured, creative, and proactive. Additionally, you have an excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, tailored to the target audience.
