As an employee of the municipality, you are part of an organization with high participation and fast decision-making processes. You will have strong collegial support where we work together to realize ideas and thoughts. Our operations are characterized by trust in each other and a present leadership. If you want a meaningful job where you make a difference, welcome to us!
THE SOCIAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATION
The Social Services Administration in Staffanstorp Municipality is responsible for support and services to the elderly, sick, and people with disabilities. A large part of the care is provided by private actors according to LOU and LOV, but the municipality's own care operations are gathered in a department that is now seeking new employees.
The Home Team works to provide care recipients with a safe and secure discharge from the hospital or short-term unit. The work is characterized by a rehabilitative approach where everyday activities are seen as natural training with the goal of strengthening the individual's independence.
The Alarm Group is responsible for performing SOL and HSL services and for responding to and addressing safety alarms during the day and evening, while the group installs safety alarms and keyless locks.
The Night Patrol is responsible during the night hours for safety alarms and approved services within both SOL and HSL.
We offer a personalized introduction where you receive support to enter the job in a safe way. You will meet a workplace that works with modern and digital tools that facilitate everyday life, such as e-signing, keyless locks, and the ability to document directly in the home.
With us, you also get a pleasant work community that offers a Friday breakfast every week. You have access to a digital learning platform where you can strengthen your skills and further develop in your profession.
Here you work in an operation where you become an important part of the whole and where you make a real difference in people's everyday lives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for someone who is responsible, engaged, and confident in both teamwork and independent work. In the role, you meet users in ordinary housing and are responsible for providing individualized care and support based on assistance decisions. You also perform health and medical tasks delegated by licensed personnel. The work involves ongoing documentation in our digital systems, and you use both computers and phones as working tools.
An important part of the assignment is to respond to incoming safety alarms and quickly assess what assistance is needed. This includes being able to perform emergency care when the situation requires it, for example, in cases of falls, sudden deterioration, or other acute events.
You will collaborate closely with nurses, rehabilitation staff, case managers, ambulance services, and other employees.
As a part-time employee, you work as needed based on the demands of the operation.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has completed a nursing program or equivalent education. For employment as a nursing assistant, a professional title according to current regulations is required. You need to have experience in care work and a B driver's license.
It is important that you are confident in both independent work and teamwork and that you can easily prioritize and remain calm, even in acute situations. The work requires good knowledge of disease theory and emergency care. You should be able to read, understand, and follow instructions and be comfortable with documentation in digital systems. Since the phone is one of your primary working tools, you need to be comfortable handling incoming calls and coordinating efforts. You should be able to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing.
