The County Psychiatric and Rehabilitation Services coordinate the county's healthcare for adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and rehabilitation in Region Västernorrland. The rehabilitation services in Västernorrland are a county-wide operation with approximately 100 employees located in Sollefteå, Sundsvall, and Örnsköldsvik. The target group for rehabilitation includes individuals with permanent disabilities, with the largest groups being intellectual disabilities, autism, and cerebral palsy. We work in child/adolescent/adult teams with an interdisciplinary approach representing medical, neuropsychological, social, and educational perspectives.

We are now looking for a social worker/healthcare social worker for the rehabilitation services for young adults in Sundsvall for a temporary position from 25-02-01 or by agreement until 25-12-31, with a possibility of extension.

Job Responsibilities

Sundsvall has the largest reception in the county, and currently, 9 social workers are employed here. As a social worker, you have knowledge of how society functions and what rights exist for the target group. The main job responsibilities include:

• Psychosocial assessments
• Mapping of needs and resources
• Therapeutic conversations
• Individual and/or group support.

You will work daytime Monday - Friday with the possibility of flexible hours.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Has a degree in social work
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has a valid driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you

• Are a trained healthcare social worker
• Have experience working with youth and adults with disabilities
