Approximately 2500 employees work in the Welfare Administration. The Welfare Administration is looking for social workers who want to work with us this summer in the areas of children and youth, adults, and financial assistance.

Every day we work to ensure that the citizens of Örnsköldsvik have a better everyday life. We are responsible for the social services' authority exercise for children and adults in need of support and protection. Around our caseworkers, there are also managers, case supervisors, administrators, business developers, and other support functions where we work together to provide our citizens with the right support at the right time.

Job Responsibilities

As a summer substitute, you will support the operations with the following tasks:

• Investigations, decisions, and follow-ups of support measures based on applicable legislation
• Assist the regular staff in the ongoing work.

Qualifications

Degree in social work or ongoing studies in a social work program or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.

Experience in authority exercise, Procapita/Lifecare, and/or BBIC/IBIC is an advantage.

A valid B driver's license is an advantage, and for certain units, a requirement. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
