About the Position

We are now looking for an engaged preschool teacher who wants to drive the teaching forward at our preschool. At Klätterträdet, we continuously work to make the preschool a place to look forward to. We do this with a conscious approach so that our preschool becomes inviting, educational, accessible, and enjoyable for all our children. The education invites meetings that create security, joy, and development through care, and by making children involved, we take advantage of their curiosity and desire to learn. In this position, you will, together with other staff, plan, implement, and evaluate the educational work and document in the existing operational systems.

Examples of Tasks:

• work together with the team to develop children's influence, participation, and personal responsibility
• ensure the needs of children and the group by applying a democratic approach
• be familiar with and follow the applicable curriculum, laws, policies, and routines
• work to offer an accessible learning environment for development, play, and learning
• be responsible for the content and implementation of development talks

About the Workplace

Klätterträdet is located in Södra Ladugårdsängen and has three departments in beautiful, bright facilities with a yard that invites play in a safe, fun, and educational environment. The Talgoxen department is for the youngest preschool children, and the Koltrasten department is for the older preschool children. Bofinken is the third department, which is allergy-adapted. The idea here is that children with or without allergies can be in the same group.

Our preschool belongs to Ängens preschools, located in the residential areas of Sörbyängen and Ladugårdsängen in central Örebro. Ängens preschools have a close collaboration and exchange with a common management group, continuing education, and shared goals in the development plan and safety plan. The preschools currently included are: Stallbacken, Fåraherden, Vingen, Äventyret, Gåsapigan, Klätterträdet, Kryddgården, Ekängens preschool, and Lergöken.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is secure and stable in their role and has a good understanding of how other people absorb knowledge based on different conditions. You take responsibility for your task and are active in teaching and the pedagogical development at the preschool. You are responsible for providing all children with an accessible learning environment for development, play, and learning. Furthermore, you easily adapt to changing circumstances, where you can quickly change your approach and work well with others, relating to them in a responsive and smooth manner. You need to have good experience working with digital tools as this is a significant part of the job. Additionally, you must master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with children, relatives, and other staff, as well as document what the operations require in writing.

Requirements

• licensed preschool teacher, or hold a qualification that entitles you to a license

Meritorious

• experience working as a preschool teacher
• education/experience in ICDP (Guiding Interaction)
• experience in systematic quality work
• VFU supervisor training
