As a special educator, you will be part of the school's student health team, which consists of counselors, school nurses, career advisors, and the principal.

We have a close collaboration on school development issues as well as matters concerning students in need of educational, medical, and psychosocial support.

You will work with documentation in the form of educational investigations, action plans, follow-ups, and evaluations.

We aim for a close collaboration with mentors and teachers, where you are expected to be a qualified conversation partner and advisor to the principal, teachers, and other staff regarding educational matters.

Qualifications

A degree from the special education program and experience teaching at the high school level is meritorious. You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in your daily work. You find it easy to build good relationships.

The work requires humility, responsiveness, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate both internally and externally. You have the tools to meet students, guardians, and educators in a communicative and trustworthy manner.

You are structured, flexible, and have a positive and professional approach when interacting with students, guardians, and colleagues. You work long-term, set goals, test, and evaluate together with colleagues.

You will have an approachable manager who believes in trust in their employees and a workplace where culture and quick decision-making are success factors for students' achievement of goals.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
