Job Vacancy: Mentor at Parkskolan in Degerfors

Degerfors is an industrial municipality with approximately 10,000 inhabitants. The municipality is located in the beautiful borderland between Värmland and Örebro County, where forested areas meet plains. Degerfors is part of the southwestern extension of Bergslagen and belongs to Örebro County, but is situated in the two landscapes of Värmland and Närke. Job Responsibilities

The work involves mentoring in the classroom and working in a team where you are expected to drive school development and meet the students in the best possible way in collaboration with colleagues and guardians. You will both individually and together with colleagues plan and develop the activities to provide students with meaningful, well-structured, and varied teaching.

The work requires good teamwork skills and experience of collaborating in a team. A good approach is also important, towards students, guardians, and colleagues. You should have structure and order in your way of working. We appreciate if you are flexible, outgoing, and take initiative to continue developing the activities.

Qualifications

Teaching certification is required, and we prefer full authorization for grades 4-6. You are well acquainted with our governing documents and have good experience in documenting and handling ICT tools. You see the strength in working in a team and are an experienced leader in the classroom.
