Stocksätterskolan is an F - 6 school with about 330 students divided into three working units, Ängen F-1, Eken 2-3, and Rönnen 4-6. Each unit has an after-school center, and our activities share common premises. The school is located in northern Hallsberg with direct proximity to nature and a nature reserve, a natural part of both leisure activities and teaching. Adjacent to our schoolyard is a sports park that we use for both break activities and various physical activities during the school day. The students come from both nearby residential areas and the adjacent apartment building area.

About the Position:

We are now looking for a home economics teacher specializing in grade 6. The position is a fixed-term employment of about 25%, which can be expanded with a certain part as a resource and/or at the after-school center. The teaching takes place at another school due to local needs.

Responsibilities:

The position involves teaching home economics to students in grade 6 at Transtenskolan where the students go on their own.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementation, and assessment of the teaching based on a formative approach. You are responsible for creating a positive and creative learning environment so that students feel curiosity and a desire to learn. The work requires that you can work independently.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a licensed home economics teacher or equivalent education/experience. Pedagogical education is a merit. You are well-versed in the steering documents and have experience in analyzing and documenting students' abilities and knowledge. You are a clear and confident leader who, with joy and creativity, ensures students' learning. You see relationship building as a natural success factor for each student's optimal development based on their conditions.

Other Information:
