About the Job as a Recreation Teacher

We are looking for a staff member for the after-school program. As a recreation teacher, you will be part of a stable and committed work team that constantly strives for development within the after-school activities. Our conditions are based on close cooperation with the school staff, student health, and the management team. The after-school staff has scheduled planning every week to ensure quality and develop the after-school program. In addition to planning time, the after-school staff participates in municipal training that is based on Bråka smartare. We place a lot of focus on break activities where your work will be an important part, and we focus on developing the students' break activities. We want you to be flexible, communicative, and willing to take on a task focused on the goals of the operations.

As an educator, you also have a good ability to create and maintain relationships primarily with students and colleagues but also with their guardians.

You are familiar with the curriculum and other governing documents and have the ability to translate theory into practice. You have a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You have the ability and drive to actively participate in the school’s change work in relation to the school’s development plan. We work based on the competent student where influence and participation are important.

We are looking for someone who is positive, cheerful, secure, and enthusiastic in their work. In your daily work, you should be able to meet people with empathy and understanding. You are also flexible and see opportunities for various adaptations in the operations. You prioritize the students' needs.
