Your Role

We are currently looking for a project manager for the development of Gripen simulators. The Cockpit, Display & Visualization section develops, produces, installs, and maintains hardware and software for pilot training systems. The work is conducted in project form, where each project can utilize resources from one or more development teams within and outside the section. Knowledgeable team leaders are available to assist with all technical details.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading project teams and ensuring that work is carried out according to plan with the right prioritization of time/economy/quality
• Reporting progress and finances verbally and in writing to project stakeholders
• Participating in resource planning and prioritization in collaboration with the line manager for all projects the section participates in
• Maintenance in our project tools Antura and Jira

Your Profile

We are looking for a project manager with experience in leading teams and coordinating projects towards success. You thrive in social settings, can collaborate effectively, and have self-awareness as well as an understanding of how to best contribute to both your own workplace and colleagues around you. You have drive, commitment, patience, and a holistic view, as well as the ability to quickly grasp complex information and understand what is relevant.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in project management
• Comfortable speaking with people and leading meetings
• Preferably some form of technical background
• Preferably experience with project management tools Antura and Jira, or equivalent

Experience from product development environments is an advantage.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, require certain citizenship.
