At our station in Särna, 14 staff members work. The station is greatly influenced by tourism, which causes the workload to vary throughout the year. There is some collaboration with Särna VC during on-call hours. We have a good collaborative climate and care for each other. We work with individual scheduling, and the job involves working during the day, night, and weekends. We place great importance on your personal qualities such as teamwork, a positive attitude, and engagement. You need to be secure in your professional role, have a genuine interest in people, and always keep the patient in focus. Nurse/Ambulance Nurse Ambulance Care Särna Job Responsibilities

Ambulance Care Dalarna is a regional clinic with 11 ambulance stations from Särna in the north to Avesta in the south. Our operations are characterized by high competence and quality, with the patient's best interests in focus. Our mission is to provide good ambulance care that is patient-safe and knowledge-based for everyone living and staying in our county. The guiding principles of Ambulance Care are Participation-Engagement-Future Perspective-Overall View. Our vision is to be a leader in Swedish ambulance care. As a nurse in Ambulance Care, you work with pre-hospital emergency care, meeting patients of all ages suffering from acute illness or injury. You assess and treat patients at home, at the scene of an accident, and during transport to healthcare facilities. The focus is on good care and humanity in patient interactions. You work both independently and as part of a team, where collaboration and knowledge exchange aim for the best possible care of the sick and injured. You work according to the applicable treatment guidelines for Ambulance Care Dalarna.

Requirements:

• Licensed Nurse
• Specialist Nurse degree with a focus on ambulance care. If you do not have specialist training in ambulance care when you apply to us, you must undergo the training within an agreed period. Some support for attending the training is provided by the employer.
• You must be approved according to the guidelines of Ambulance Care Dalarna regarding employment tests and introductory training.
• Driver's license with permission to drive a passenger vehicle with a total weight over 3.5 tons. If you do not have the authorization when you apply to us, you must start obtaining C1 driver's license within an agreed period. The employer covers health examinations and driving school costs.
• Swimming ability of 200 meters, certification required.

Meritorious:

• Specialist Nurse degree with a focus on ambulance care.
• Previous experience in ambulance care.
• Prio1 authorization.
• PS/PHTLS/AMLS training.
• Driver's license with permission to drive a passenger vehicle with a total weight over 3.5 tons.
