Laboratory medicine in Dalarna consists of clinical chemistry, clinical microbiology, and transfusion medicine, where we work across departments. The operation is county-wide with laboratories in Avesta, Borlänge, Falun, Ludvika, and Mora, employing approximately 155 staff. The goal of the operation is to provide medical laboratory services with high quality and patient safety. The operation should be permeated by a risk-based approach where patient safety is always the focus.

We are currently looking for summer substitutes for the summer of 2026 in clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine in Mora, where we are 18 employees.

Summer Substitute Biomedical Analyst or Laboratory Assistant

In clinical chemistry and transfusion medicine in Mora, there are processes for sampling, sample reception, hematology, coagulation, immunochemistry, general chemistry, bloodletting, and blood group serology. As a summer substitute, you will receive training in one or more of these areas. You will perform regular tasks for biomedical analysts. During the summer, there may also be opportunities for shadowing in other processes to gain a good overview of how the work in the laboratory functions.

We are looking for you who are a licensed biomedical analyst or you who are in training. You are also welcome to apply if you have other relevant scientific education or are in training.

Interviews and hiring will take place continuously. We expect the recruitment of summer substitutes to be completed by week 14 at the latest. This means that you who are relevant for employment will be contacted before then.
