We are looking for a licensed nurse who wants to work extra or as needed during night shifts with us in departments 60 and 65. If you also have the opportunity to cover night shifts during the summer, it is a big plus.

Department 60 - General Psychiatric Inpatient Care

• Department 60 at Falu Hospital is a general psychiatric inpatient unit with 14 beds. We offer evidence-based treatment, including electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), and user-controlled admission. Our patients have varying psychiatric diagnoses and are treated according to different care forms, with individually tailored lengths of stay.
• Through close collaboration with somatic care, we can receive patients with complex comorbidity, where psychiatric conditions are often combined with somatic care needs. This makes our work environment stimulating, developing, and meaningful.
• We work in interdisciplinary teams consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors, in close collaboration with psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, and other actors in healthcare and social services. The interdisciplinary collaboration is a central part of our work to provide patients with the support and treatment they need.

Department 65 - Addiction Care

• Department 65 is part of the Addiction Center at Falu Hospital. The department has 14 beds and its own emergency department (day and evening) focused on addiction care. Here, we primarily offer withdrawal treatment for those at risk of severe withdrawal problems.
• In addition to medical treatment, we work with a structured motivation program aimed at strengthening patients' willingness and ability to initiate a change in their life situation and manage their substance dependence.

As a nurse with us, you will have a central and significant role in the care and nursing of patients. You are responsible for ensuring that each patient receives safe, secure, and high-quality care during their stay. The work involves both independent assessments and close collaboration in an experienced and engaged team. During night shifts, the team consists of two nurses and four nursing assistants/nursing staff, distributed between the two departments. To thrive in this role, you need to be flexible and have a positive attitude towards working in both units.

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse

Meritorious:

• Experience in somatic care
• Further education in psychiatry or other relevant further education
• Previous experience in psychiatry or comorbidity
