The Domnarvet Health Center has 16,600 registered patients and approximately 70 employees. We are a well-functioning health center with experienced and dedicated staff. The health center is beautifully located near the Bergebo recreation area in Borlänge with good transport connections. We have good staffing with district nurses and registered nurses, nursing assistants, and a rehabilitation team. The health center also has a child health clinic/maternity clinic and a laboratory. Since we are located at Borlänge Hospital, we have several adjacent specialist clinics in the building. We work in the Cosmic journal system.

District Physician Domnarvet Health Center Job Responsibilities

We strive to combine a good working environment with high patient safety - with the goal of providing safe, close, and accessible care to all our patients and a pleasant, sustainable working environment for our staff. We work from a health-promoting perspective regarding the working environment, with the possibility of an annual wellness allowance. As a district physician with us, you will be part of a medical team that currently consists of 4.5 district physicians, 6 resident physicians, and 2 junior doctors. We also have a psychiatrist/addiction specialist employed with us, as well as an orthopedic physician with whom we collaborate within the catchment area.

Responsibilities within primary care as a district physician:

• Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases
• Collaboration with other healthcare providers and specialist colleagues
• Staffing of primary on-call and standby shifts
• Supervision of training physicians at various levels
• If needed, work with home care/Säbo/LSS as well as child health clinic/maternity clinic

We are looking for someone who is a specialist in general medicine and confident in your professional role. You enjoy the breadth of primary care and see the value in wanting to contribute to the development of the organization. It is an advantage if you have supervisory competence. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

• Requirements: Licensed physician with specialist competence in general medicine, B driver's license
• Personal qualities: Good ability to work independently and in a team, engaged and responsible
• It is advantageous if you: value collaboration, want to contribute to the development of working methods and the working environment, prioritize patient safety and quality
