Mora is a town close to nature and mountains, inviting outdoor activities and an active leisure year-round. Mora Hospital is one of Region Dalarna's two emergency hospitals. The catchment area has about 80,000 inhabitants, but outdoor facilities in Sälen and Idre, as well as major sporting events both summer and winter, create significant tourist flows. At Mora Hospital, you will find the comfort of a small hospital while it serves as a trauma hospital. The Anesthesia Operation ICU clinic consists of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Central Surgery (C-op), Day Surgery (DKM), anesthesia reception, and Sterile Technology. Approximately 1,500 patients are cared for in the ICU each year, of which about 500 are ICU patients. At C-op and DKM, a total of about 4,500-5,000 operations are performed annually, mainly surgery and orthopedics, but also some urology and jaw/dental care. Sterile Technology handles goods from operating departments, care departments, and outpatient clinics at the hospital, as well as from all health centers in Region Dalarna. We have a close collaboration with other clinics and also assist with external assignments at the hospital, such as anesthesia/sedation in outpatient clinics, alarm teams, and higher competence during secondary transport to another hospital.

Day Surgery Mora (DKM) belongs to the Op/An/ICU clinic at Mora Hospital and is a modern operating department with bright and fresh premises, located on the 6th floor with a beautiful view of Mora. We are a smaller team consisting of trained nurses, nursing assistants, anesthesiologist nurses, and operating room nurses. Here, there is a wonderful work climate characterized by positivity, job satisfaction, and a strive to give our patients the best possible experience during their visits with us. With us, you have the opportunity to work Monday to Friday, have weekends off, and we are closed on public holidays.

We have two large operating rooms where most patients are operated on for procedures that do not require inpatient postoperative care, such as laparoscopic hernia and gallbladder surgery, open hernia surgery, hand and foot surgery, and arthroscopic surgery. Some of our patients are also operated on in the operating department at Central Surgery.

As an anesthesiologist nurse at DKM, you will be part of a team with operating room nurses and nursing assistants, performing standard tasks in the anesthesiologist nurse's perioperative care. In addition to working in the operating room, we rotate to staff our recovery unit to some extent.

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse with a specialist nursing degree in anesthesia care

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in day surgery

Personal qualities:

You are positive and meticulous, have a patient-focused approach, and a good attitude towards both patients and colleagues. You can express yourself easily in spoken and written Swedish, have good multitasking skills, and the ability to keep many balls in the air. We also see that you have good collaboration skills and a flexible working style. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and previous references.
