The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Region Dalarna offers specialized care for children and adolescents up to 18 years old with more severe mental health issues and/or neuropsychiatric disabilities. We are now looking for a psychologist or a PTP psychologist for BUP in Avesta for a permanent full-time position, starting as soon as possible or by agreement. We are looking for someone interested in working with children/adolescents and families from a child psychiatric perspective, where the individual needs of the patient are at the center.

Working as a psychologist within BUP is a challenging, developing, and exciting job. High demands are placed on knowledge regarding interaction and problem-solving skills. As a psychologist at BUP, you will work with:

• Qualified assessment, investigation, and treatment work both individually and in teams
• Consultations and networking
• Participation in the development work of the organization, educational initiatives, and method development

Region Dalarna's PTP program begins with a thorough introduction for PTP psychologists, supervisors, and managers. Throughout the year, you will participate in PTP days, one full day per month. Through seminars, lectures, study visits, and observations, you will gain broad insight into the region's various operations. The PTP days often provide appreciated opportunities to get to know and exchange experiences with other PTP psychologists.

Our quality-assured PTP positions give you broad and diverse experience in the psychology profession while allowing you to specialize in the area you are employed in. The workplace you will join has good conditions to welcome you and create a safe and well-thought-out setup for the PTP year. Throughout the year, our study director will also be close at hand to ensure good quality and provide support and advice. The exact start date for the PTP service will be agreed upon with the workplace.

Qualifications:

• Licensed psychologist
• Driver's license (B)

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience with WISC, ADI-R, and ADOS and/or other testing methods
• Experience and knowledge of child and adolescent development

PTP Qualifications:

To be eligible for a PTP position, you must be able to present your psychology degree certificate by the start date. If you have a psychology degree from a country other than Sweden, please attach a statement from the National Board of Health and Welfare regarding any necessary adjustments.

This job involves direct and regular contact with children and/or adolescents.
