The Health Center in Hedemora is located in the municipality of Hedemora and has approximately 9,400 registered patients. We have around 45 employees from various professional categories such as doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, psychotherapists, medical secretaries, care/rehabilitation coordinators, and physiotherapists. Primary care is the core of healthcare and aims to provide good, close, and safe care for our residents, a job that is important, enjoyable, and challenging.

We are looking for a nurse/community nurse for the Health Center in Hedemora for a maternity leave cover of at least 1 year. Would you like to work in an environment where engagement, care, and quality are at the center? We are now seeking a nurse or community nurse who wants to be part of our team during a maternity leave cover.

With us, you will have a varied, independent, and developing job in an organization where we care for both our patients and each other. In your role, you will work as part of a team with other professionals.

The work includes, among other things:

• Reception work and nursing/medical assessments
• Telephone advice and triage
• Collaboration with doctors, nursing assistants, and other professionals

You will have a role where you both use and develop your clinical competence in close contact with colleagues and our patients.

Meritorious (but not required):

Information about the job title

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected job title (https://legitimation.socialstyrelsen.se/skyddad-yrkestitel-for-underskoterska/). This means that you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant in healthcare and social services.

You can apply for the certificate from July 1, 2023. If you do not have a certificate, you can continue to work in healthcare and social services, but with a different title than nursing assistant. For those offered a job with us in Region Dalarna after July 1, the title in your employment contract will be Care Assistant until you can present your certificate. If you had a permanent position with the title nursing assistant when the new regulations came into effect on July 1, 2023, you can continue to use the nursing assistant title for 10 years. You can retain the title even if you change workplace/employer after July 1. After that, you will need a certificate of protected job title to use the title nursing assistant.

This job involves direct and regular contact with children and/or adolescents.
