Region Dalarna's Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) within the Division of Psychiatry and Habilitation is now seeking Registered Nurses for the new county-wide operation Mini-Maria in Falun and Mora - accessible clinics for children and young people up to 21 years old with risky use, harmful use, or dependence, with or without psychiatric comorbidity. Mini-Maria operates within the framework of a county-wide collaboration between Region Dalarna and the municipalities of Dalarna, where the municipalities of Falun and Mora are the host municipalities.  

We are now looking for nurses for the clinic in Falun with a satellite clinic in Avesta. The operation is planned to start in the autumn of 2026. In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to collaborate with engaged colleagues from both the municipality and the region to shape work methods, collaboration, and content. The work is characterized by interdisciplinary teamwork, trust, and cooperation, with good opportunities for continuous professional development as the operation grows and develops. 

Mini-Maria is a low-threshold operation that offers advice, support, and treatment to children and young people and their relatives. The work is based on the individual's needs and is built on evidence-based methods and national guidelines. 

The main clinics in Falun and Mora will have satellite clinics in Avesta and Älvdalen that are staffed regularly. The work takes place in interdisciplinary teams together with, among others, doctors, psychologists, midwives, and therapists from the municipality.  

As a nurse at Mini-Maria, you will: 

• Work with advice, support, and treatment for children and young people up to 21 years old 
• Work with psychiatric nursing in individual contacts and teams  
• Conduct qualified telephone advice and digital healthcare contacts  
• Manage medications and medical follow-ups 
• Work integrated and parallel with psychosocial issues and any psychiatric comorbidity 
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare providers in the region as well as with municipalities, schools, and other actors based on the individual's needs 
• Actively participate in the establishment of the operation, including the development of routines and work methods 
• Work both at the main clinic in Falun and at the satellite clinic in Avesta  
• Conduct conversations both physically and digitally 
• The work mainly takes place during the day, Monday to Friday, with evening work about once a week.

Requirements: 

• Registered Nurse 
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing 
• Driver's license B 

Meritorious: 

• Experience working in child and adolescent psychiatry 
• Experience working with risky use, harmful use, or dependence and/or psychiatry, preferably directed towards children and young people 
• Experience working with comorbidity - risky use, harmful use, or dependence in combination with other psychiatric issues 
• Further education in psychiatric care (VUB) 
• KBT - Basic psychotherapy education (step 1) 
• Training and/or experience in treatment methods such as MI, MET, ÅP, A-CRA, KBT, or similar evidence-based methods

You are comfortable in meetings with children and young people and their relatives and find it easy to build trusting relationships. You work independently with responsibility for your tasks, while also enjoying working in a team and seeing collaboration as a natural part of the work. Furthermore, you are structured, communicative, and have a reflective approach that contributes to quality and development in the work.
