Temporary Position as Care Staff at Granlidens Special Housing
The Health and Care Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly and disability care, home healthcare, and food services. The administration has over 1,000 employees, with the largest group being care staff such as nursing assistants, personal assistants, nurses, and chefs. However, there are also many other professions within our operations. We are all key personnel, and our activities are characterized by employees who are engaged, responsible, and competent.

The Workplace
Granlidens special housing is located in Grängesberg, with the sports field Vallen and the bandy rink as its nearest neighbors.
Together with your colleagues in the work team, you will create an environment where individuals feel influence and can participate.
Job Responsibilities
- Care and support work with individuals diagnosed with dementia in special housing according to the municipality's guidelines
- Provide individuals with a meaningful day, activation, and stimulation
- Medical care is included, such as medication administration
- Administrative tasks in the form of planning and distribution of work as well as documentation according to the Social Services Act
- Scheduled working hours with day, evening, and weekend shifts
- Resource shifts may occur
Qualifications Required for the Position
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with dementia in a more severe dementia department, with challenging behavior
- Experience in meeting and working according to BPSD
- Holding a diploma from the Demens ABC training
- Holding a diploma from the Demens ABC Plus special housing training
- Holding a diploma from the Zero Vision training
- Holding a diploma from the Communication ABC training
- Holding medication delegation
- Proficiency in the Swedish language in both speech and writing
- Familiarity with using mobile phones and computers
