The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Region Dalarna consists of five outpatient clinics and a county resource that includes an acute team, ward 68 for inpatient care, a family therapy unit, and an eating disorders unit. All units are under a common department manager and are based on a holistic approach to child and adolescent psychiatric care. The mission is to work with families where children and adolescents exhibit serious child psychiatric problems, and the department applies a wide range of evidence-based treatment methods. When necessary, treatment is carried out in close collaboration with other healthcare providers and networks, such as schools and social services.

We are now offering a position for a psychologist at the outpatient clinic in the scenic Mora, an exciting town that offers opportunities for a rich leisure life regardless of your interests and is close to everything!

You will become part of an engaged and competent work group. The interdisciplinary team consists of social workers, psychotherapists, psychologists, nurses, physicians, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and a manager. You will have a manager who is well-versed in the department's mission and psychological work, who cares about a good work environment and finding new solutions to meet the needs of our patients in the best possible way. To promote more efficient care, increase job satisfaction, and foster a good work environment, we strive for the right use of competence by organizing work and roles so that each professional group's competence is utilized optimally.

As a new psychologist, you may be offered an experienced colleague as a mentor, and you will also participate in continuous supervision. During your first year, you will undergo an introductory training program designed to complement and deepen your child psychiatric knowledge and familiarize you with the routines and guidelines governing the department. The training aims to prepare you to meet the department's requirements and to gradually take on greater responsibility as your experience and competence grow. You will also be part of the county-wide psychologist network, which holds regular professional meetings.

As a psychologist at the BUP clinic in Mora, you have an important role in the interdisciplinary collaboration where you contribute your perspective in assessment, investigation, and psychotherapeutic treatment. The work is very varied and takes place with individuals, families, and groups, and there is an opportunity to specialize in specific areas and patient groups depending on your interests and expertise. For those engaged in contributing to the development of the department, there is also a chance to work with supervision and improvement projects, creating a dynamic and stimulating work environment where you can influence and develop professionally.

Requirements

• Licensed psychologist.
• Experience in assessment, investigation, and treatment work.
• Driver's license.
