Ward 68 deals with acute situations and shorter admissions. The child or adolescent is always cared for together with a guardian, and we actively work with the entire family and the surrounding network.

We are currently upgrading the ward to create calm, security, and a good working environment. We work based on the Safewards model, which focuses on safety, participation, and recovery - for meaningful round-the-clock care. Exciting things are happening with us right now! Among other things, we are in the starting blocks for Mini Maria Dalarna, a new collaboration between BUP and social services to provide support for children and adolescents facing mental health issues and risk behavior. You will be joining an organization in positive development and forward motion - where you can help shape the future of child and adolescent psychiatry.

Teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration are the foundation of everything we do. Each patient has their own team consisting of a nurse, caregiver, social worker, doctor, and other professionals. We take the time to truly see each child and family - and we support each other in our daily work.

Nurse for Ward 68 BUP, Falun Job Responsibilities

As a nurse on Ward 68, you will have overall nursing responsibility for our inpatient patients. You will lead and distribute nursing tasks, triage emergency calls, and be a reliable point in an sometimes unpredictable but always meaningful daily routine. We are also looking for a nurse for BUP's day care, where you will work with planned treatment interventions and close collaboration with families and networks.

We offer a fixed schedule with every other weekend, providing stable and predictable working hours.

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse.

Preferred:

• Further education in psychiatry
• Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry or family work
