We are growing to provide more patients with orthopedic care in a timely manner. We are now opening a new care team within orthopedic inpatient care in Falun and are looking for nurses who want to help build the future of orthopedics with us.

We are a 24/7 operation where working hours are scheduled for day/evening and, if necessary, also night shifts. The positions are permanent contracts at 100% with a start date according to agreement. A nurse with mixed rotation has a weekly working time of 38:15 hours, but you can go down to 30:15 hours depending on the number of nights.

Nurses | Orthopedic Inpatient Care | Department 17/18 Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will work with pre- and post-operative care of patients undergoing orthopedic procedures.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Overall responsibility for the patient during the hospital stay
• Wound care, pain relief, and mobilization
• Preparation for surgery and follow-up after the procedure
• Medication management
• Patient safety, documentation, and development work in daily routines
• Interprofessional collaboration with nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, etc., as well as with other care units

Requirements

• Licensed nurse or expected graduation in January 2026
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
