Ludvika Health Center has over 15,000 registered patients and is one of two region-run health centers in Ludvika municipality. The health center employs specialists in general medicine, resident doctors, interns, junior doctors, district nurses, registered nurses, specialist nurses, nursing assistants, psychotherapists, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, care coordinators, and medical secretaries.

The health center is located at Ludvika Hospital, close to radiology and laboratory services, with the nearest emergency department in Falun. The hospital also has an urgent care center that is open around the clock.

Temporary position as Junior Doctor (medical degree/licensed junior doctor), Ludvika Health Center

As a temporary junior doctor with us, we offer you a challenging and varied job. Supervision will be provided by experienced general practitioners. The position is over the summer with a chance for extension.

The work is varied with patients of all ages and situations. You will work independently with outpatient care, including acute assessments and basic checks for conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. A doctor will always be available on-site for consultation. Each week, doctors hold collegial meetings and continuous training is planned. You also have the opportunity to influence your schedule and booking calendar.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed junior doctor, or
• has knowledge of the Cosmic journal system
• has completed their medical degree
• is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written (C1 level)
• has an interest in primary care.

Previous experience working at a health center or another clinic is an advantage.

You have good communication skills and can collaborate with others, but also work independently and make your own decisions. You possess good empathetic abilities, a professional approach, and a positive attitude. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
