Working with mammography is more than just a job - it is an important mission where you meet women of all ages every day and contribute to the early detection of breast cancer. With us, you will have a stimulating and varied job where your skills truly make a difference. We are looking for a Radiology Nurse/Nurse who wants to work with us at the Mammography unit in Falun/Borlänge. The Imaging and Functional Medicine in Dalarna is a county clinic with radiology departments in Avesta, Ludvika, Falun, and Mora, as well as mammography services in Falun, Borlänge, and Mora. Approximately 200 employees from various professional categories work within the county clinic. Each year, about 37,000 women are invited to mammographic health checks at the Mammography unit, and we also conduct approximately 5,000 examinations per year in clinical practice. Clinical patients come either by referral, contact us directly, or are recalled from health checks. We have a close collaboration with surgeons and pathologists and hold multidisciplinary conferences every week. Our operations are conducted in accordance with the recommendations of the National Board of Health and Welfare and strive for high quality in diagnostics.

Working with mammography means meeting many women of all ages daily. It is a stimulating job where you need to build trust quickly and perform the examination professionally. During health checks, the pace is high as we have about 5 minutes per woman. The work at the mammography unit varies between health checks, clinical imaging, and telephone advice, with placements alternating between Falun and Borlänge.

The mammography unit is now looking for you who are a licensed radiology nurse or licensed nurse. Our operations are technical and digitized, so you should have good computer skills. You are calm and secure and have the ability to build trust quickly.
