Welcome to Säter, a charming and picturesque part of Dalarna, a place characterized by tranquility and care. The Adult Psychiatric Clinic in Falun and Säter is a clinic divided into two locations, with two care departments at each location, specialized units for LARO and ECT, as well as an addiction emergency unit in Falun.

In Säter, you will find Dalarna's only psychiatric emergency department, a safe and warm workplace where both patients and staff are at the center. We work together to create a caring, supportive, and professional environment where everyone can feel seen and valued. Safety and security are central parts of our working methods, and all staff regularly undergo training in Terma and CPR. In 2025, we have implemented Meaningful 24-Hour Care, Safewards, a working method that continues to develop and be used in most units. In addition, we offer ongoing professional development and other relevant training for our staff. We are a clinic that is constantly evolving and striving to work with modern methods and evidence-based practices to provide both patients and staff with the best possible conditions.

As a nurse in the psychiatric emergency department, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing patients' psychiatric conditions, both via phone (Tele-Q) and during physical visits.
• Providing advice, support, and information regarding treatment options and strategies.
• Working closely with doctors and other healthcare staff.
• Being involved in the assessment of the work efforts of ST doctors and supporting AT doctors and other physicians in daily work.
• Collaborating with healthcare neighbors such as Prehospital Emergency Care (PEA), ambulance, police, and other agencies.

The work varies between quieter periods and moments of high tempo, making the role both diverse and developing. Working hours are scheduled for days and evenings, without night shifts, and most work every other weekend. We offer good opportunities to influence your schedule, and we strive to consider individual preferences when scheduling.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed nurse.

We offer a long and individually tailored introduction, where you will receive support from an experienced nurse in psychiatric emergency care.
