You are applying to team SST (Sit Stand Train), which belongs to our largest department Movement, to be part of a stimulating and development-oriented operation with engaged colleagues. The department includes assistive technology consultants, assistive technology technicians, continence coordinators, and rehabilitation assistants. The department's mission, governed by the Assistive Technology Board, includes patient reception for the testing of mobility aids, counseling, procurement and assortment work, training, and collaboration with the county's prescribers. The operation is mainly located in Falun but also has some activities in Mora and Borlänge. The position is based in Falun, but we work throughout the county.

The team has a special focus on manual wheelchairs, drive units, work chairs, treatment/training aids, and bicycles.

Assistive Technology Consultant, Dalarna's Assistive Technology Center, Dept. Movement, Falun Job Responsibilities

Your main job responsibilities are to support the prescriber in all parts of the prescribing process through counseling, testing, and adapting aids together with the rest of the team. Together with the team, you will find the right solutions in the combination of person-technology. The job includes assortment work, procurement, conducting training, contact with suppliers, and monitoring the assistive technology field. Collaboration with other teams and departments in the administration is also an important part of the team's mission.

Travel is common in this position.

Requirements

• Licensed occupational therapist/physiotherapist with at least three years of work experience
• Experience in prescribing aids based on the prescribing process
• Experience working and reporting in digital systems
• Experience in training/knowledge transfer
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Valid driver's license with driving experience

Meritorious

• Previous work experience as an assistive technology consultant
• Several years of work experience in neurological/geriatric rehabilitation and/or habilitation
• Advanced training in relevant areas for the operation
• Experience analyzing sitting/standing
• Experience planning and conducting training
• Experience driving/working in processes
• Experience in administration in relevant operational systems/applications
