The Gastroenterology Clinic team consists of about 35 employees, including nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors who together are responsible for the specialized care of gastrointestinal and liver diseases in central Dalarna. A large part of our work involves performing endoscopic examinations, but we also provide day care as well as doctor and nurse consultations. The clinic is open during daytime hours, Monday to Friday.

The nurse rotates between the clinic and endoscopy. In the clinic, you will work with telephone advice and 1177, book and summon patients, and administer medication treatments. You will be part of one or more responsibility groups and have the opportunity for your own consultations based on need.

In endoscopy, you will be responsible for preparations for examinations, providing information, care, medication management, and monitoring during and after examinations. You will also be trained to assist the doctor during endoscopic examinations and treatments. If you enjoy a mix of acute and planned work, we can offer you a stimulating and varied job where you will help develop our future work.

The position includes rotating to ward 22, for example, every third weekend, the interval can be discussed. Ward 22 primarily has patients with intestinal and liver diseases, blood disorders, and lung diseases.

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse

Meritorious:

• Experience in gastroenterology.

Personal qualities:

You should be able to adapt to varying situations and thrive in a changing environment where the patient always comes first. An interest in medical technology equipment is an advantage. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.
