The Public Health Function is an operation within Folktandvården Dalarna where we work to expand knowledge about oral health and invest in preventive dental care. The operation primarily consists of external activities aimed at individuals entitled to necessary dental care, child health centers, and schools. We are involved in both national and local projects, and our ambition is to be an innovative and updated operation.

Currently, the team consists of 1 operations manager, 1 operations coordinator, 10 dental hygienists, and 8 dental nurses. We are 7 different teams based in 6 different locations in the region.

Dental Nurse Public Health Function Falun Job Responsibilities

Are you a dental nurse curious about what it’s like to work with external patient meetings where travel is a natural part of your everyday life? Then perhaps the Public Health Function is for you! The operation primarily consists of external activities aimed at individuals entitled to necessary dental care, child health centers, and schools. We are involved in both national and local projects, and our ambition is to be an innovative and updated operation.

We offer varied job responsibilities as well as an interesting and developing job. The role involves quite a bit of travel by car within your catchment area.

The position may involve clinical work in general dentistry during certain periods. Travel is included within your catchment area.

Requirements:

• Degree from the dental nurse program
• Driver's license B manual transmission
• You use Swedish in speech and writing

Since the role involves a lot of contact with people, sometimes in vulnerable situations, we place great importance on your personal qualities. We appreciate that you work well with others and communicate with both colleagues and patients in a responsive and smooth manner. You believe that care and service are a natural part of the job. Furthermore, you are good at organizing and prioritizing work effectively.

Meritorious:

• Experience with the T4 data system

This job involves direct and regular contact with children and/or adolescents.
