Nurse at the Health and Care Administration

The Health and Care Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly and disability care, home healthcare, and food services. The administration has over 1,000 employees. The largest group of employees consists of care personnel such as nursing assistants, personal assistants, nurses, and chefs. However, there are also many other professions within our operations. We are all key personnel, and our activities are characterized by employees who are engaged, responsible, and competent.

The Workplace

Working in our nursing organization is an inspiring and independent job. There are opportunities for development, and you have great freedom to plan your workday. You will work in teams with other professional categories. The nursing organization works with both regular and special housing, divided into three areas. In one of our areas, we also work with LSS and psychiatry.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will among other things:

• Perform standard nursing tasks within municipal elderly care.
• Be a supervisor for care staff in medical care.
• Guide and support care staff within the administration.
• Supervision of students may be included.
• PAS responsibility and specific areas of responsibility may be included.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse (Swedish license is required).
• Has good IT skills and confidence in working with various digital systems.
• Has a B driver's license.
• Has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has experience working in health and medical care, preferably municipal elderly care.
