Primary Care South consists of 3 health centers with a total of 25,000 registered patients.

• Health Center Avesta is located at Avesta Hospital and has about 11,000 registered patients.
• Health Center Hedemora is centrally located in Hedemora municipality and has about 9,500 registered patients.
• Health Center Långshyttan is situated close to nature just outside the center of Långshyttan (about 25 km from Hedemora) and has about 5,700 registered patients.

We have friendly and dedicated employees with various professions; doctors, nurses, midwives, district nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, managers, therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Primary Care South works for a common primary care and has teamwork in our units.

Psychologist for Primary Care South

The position is a shared role where work will take place at all 3 health centers in Primary Care South (Hedemora, Långshyttan, and Avesta). The work mainly involves assessment and treatment of patients with various types of mental health issues. The approach is primary care-oriented, focusing on making high-quality interventions available to many. The work is stimulating with great opportunities for variation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and development work.

Requirements:

• Licensed psychologist
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

Meritorious:

• Experience working with the Cosmic journal system

You are interested in the primary care perspective where both quality and accessibility are in focus. We offer digital solutions for our patients, and we appreciate curiosity in this area. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, flexibility, and good collaboration skills with a positive attitude towards both patients and colleagues. We also welcome interest in working with patients in groups.

This position requires you to have a valid license for the relevant profession. Your professional license will be checked against the National Board of Health and Welfare's register of licensed health and medical care personnel (HOSP) before any job offer is made.
