The Rheumatology Clinic is the only specialist unit in Dalarna for patients with rheumatic diseases. We are a small unit with flexible staff who stay long at the clinic. Our clinic is continuously developing through projects and research. We have a large outpatient clinic as well as daily appointments for patients receiving infusion medications.

Requirements:

• Trained nursing assistant who has completed the Health and Care program or the vocational package Health and Care in adult education
• Diploma from the Health and Care College

Meritorious:

• Program specialization in Emergency Care and Medicine 2 (if you have previously completed the Health and Care program)

You have a professional attitude towards your role, and we place great importance on personal qualities such as teamwork, a positive attitude, and commitment.

Information about the Job Title

As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant is a protected job title (https://legitimation.socialstyrelsen.se/underskoterska-blir-en-skyddad-yrkestitel/). This means that you need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant within health and care.

You can apply for the certificate starting July 1, 2023. If you do not have a certificate, you can continue to work in health and care, but with a different title than nursing assistant. For those offered a job with us in Region Dalarna after July 1, this means that the title in your employment contract will be Care Assistant until you can present your certificate. If you had a permanent position with the title nursing assistant when the new regulations came into effect on July 1, 2023, you can continue to use the nursing assistant title for 10 years. You can retain the title even if you change workplaces/employers after July 1. After that, you will need to have a certificate of protected job title to use the title nursing assistant.
