We are now looking for a licensed nurse to Department 14, where you will have the opportunity to develop in an environment characterized by competence, collaboration, and commitment. We are looking for someone who wants to work rotating shifts or full-time nights. Department 14 focuses on lower gastro, which means caring for patients with diseases of the lower gastrointestinal tract. Here, you will primarily meet patients who have undergone surgery for colorectal cancer, but acute surgical conditions also occur.

Our team is knowledgeable and engaged, striving every day to provide our patients with safe and quality care. We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to our continued development.

Nurse for the Surgical Clinic Dept 14 - rotating shifts or full-time nights Job Responsibilities

In addition to standard nursing duties, you will work with pre- and post-operative care. This includes:

• Clinical assessments
• Fluid balance
• Wound and stoma care
• Management of central lines
• Medical technical equipment
• Gastric tubes
• Drainage
• Urinary catheters

You will receive an individually tailored introduction to feel secure in your role. We also offer recurring training sessions, such as internal training and basic training, so you can develop and grow in your professional role.

• is a licensed nurse
• has a genuine interest in surgery and enjoys varied tasks - both independently and in close collaboration with colleagues
• works responsibly and evidence-based, with good adherence to our routines
• is flexible, self-driven, and has good teamwork skills
• has good communication skills in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you have:

• previous work experience
• relevant further education
• experience in surgical care
