The County Adult Psychiatry in Falun & Säter has a county-wide mission within adult psychiatry, responsible for psychiatric emergency care, inpatient care, and addiction treatment. We are a clinic where both patients and employees are in focus. We strive to create person-centered care of high quality together. The Addiction Center consists of inpatient ward 65 with 14 beds and its own emergency reception linked to the ward. Together with the LARO reception (Medication-Assisted Rehabilitation for Opioid Dependence), these units make up the Addiction Center.

Temporary part-time Nurse, LARO Reception, Falun

You will work as a nurse at the LARO reception at Falu Hospital - medication-assisted rehabilitation for opioid dependence. The purpose of the treatment is for individuals dependent on opioids to stop their abuse and, through treatment, achieve improved health and social situation. Good collaboration with the municipalities' social services, primary care, and psychiatric outpatient care is a success factor in the work. At the reception, the department manager, nurses, caregivers, social worker, and doctors work as a team around the patients.

Working hours: Daytime preferably 7:00-15:30 (some flexibility exists)

The Addiction Center also includes Ward 65, which is an inpatient ward for addiction and dependency, and they also staff the needle exchange in Falun together with staff from the infection department two days a week.

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse
• Relevant experience
• Knowledge of psychiatric illnesses combined with addiction issues

Meritorious:

• Further education in psychiatry or addiction care

Personal qualities:

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in caring for and treating patients with addiction issues. It is important that you are self-driven and confident in your role as a nurse. You should particularly be interested in collaboration, be able to take great personal responsibility, and take initiative. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

This position requires you to have a valid license for the relevant profession. Your professional license will be checked against the National Board of Health and Welfare's register of licensed health and medical personnel (HOSP) before any job offer.
