As a healthcare worker at Leksand Sommarland, you will utilize your medical expertise in a beautiful natural environment filled with joy, adventure, and community. No two days are alike; you will encounter everything from children with scrapes to more serious accidents or illnesses that require quick decisions.

Your main responsibilities

• Medical assessments, both independently and in consultation with other healthcare professionals
• Provide first aid and medical care for injuries or illnesses
• Close collaboration with our lifeguards (trained in first aid)
• Contribute to a safe and professional care environment for both guests and colleagues
• Responsible for documentation and management of medical supplies

Your profile

As a healthcare worker or nurse, you have at least 1 year of documented experience in emergency care and relevant medical training, preferably with certification as a nursing assistant or nurse. Exceptions to the certification requirement can be made if you have other relevant education or experience, such as documented experience working as a ski patrol. You are confident in making medical assessments, both for minor injuries and in emergency situations. You handle minor accidents with care and act calmly and effectively when something serious occurs. As a person, you are resilient, structured, and enjoy working both independently and in a team. Since the position involves a lot of guest contact, you need to speak and write fluently in Swedish and English. Previous experience in service, good knowledge of Norwegian, and an AM/B driving license are advantageous.

What can we offer?

As a healthcare worker employed by Leksand Sommarland, you will be part of Eventsjukvård Jämtland, which, in collaboration with Leksand Sommarland, is responsible for the medical preparedness in the park. You will be part of Leksand Sommarland's alarm team and work alongside engaged and positive colleagues to create a safe and secure experience for our guests.

Working hours follow the park's opening hours, usually 10:00 AM to 6:10 PM, every day of the week. The employment is seasonal, and you have the opportunity to influence your working hours. The season runs from June to August. Salary and other conditions according to the collective agreement with Vista-HRF, the Green National Agreement. We offer staff accommodation and also have a staff camping area for those with their own van, caravan, or tent.

The amusement park Leksand Sommarland in Dalarna is a true adventure for families during the summer. Inside the gates, a wide range of activities and attractions await. Some of our most popular attractions include the Wipeout course in Siljan, Laser tag, high ropes courses for both big and small, and of course our Waterland with heated pools and winding water slides. Our 250 summer staff welcome up to 6000 guests per day.
