Registered Nurse in Hedemora Municipality

As a registered nurse in Hedemora Municipality, you will have a varied job. You will work broadly and coordinate efforts both independently and together with colleagues in a competent care team, for the best of the community residents.

The municipality is responsible for health and medical care efforts up to the nurse level. In your job as a nurse within municipal health and medical care, you will meet and assist individuals with significant needs for nursing and health and medical care efforts within elderly care, LSS, social psychiatry, and home healthcare (0 years and up). We are looking for nurses in all areas, LSS and social psychiatry, HSV, and SÄBO. The position includes on-call time, which means approximately 3-4 evenings and 1-2 weekends every 6 weeks.

We need you who are a registered nurse and have a genuine interest and commitment to health and medical care within municipal operations. You need to be flexible and driven as you have a coordinating role and many contacts where the starting point is to have the patient at the center.

The operational system we use for documentation is PULSEN.

• You plan and structure your work largely independently towards the individual patient and their relatives.
• You assess and perform medical treatment and nursing efforts, which you also follow up and document according to applicable legislation.
• You have close contact with other nursing staff, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, unit managers, and regional operations.
• You educate and supervise nursing staff, patients, and their relatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• The position requires that you are a registered nurse.
• Experience in the profession is meritorious but not a requirement.
• Experience from LSS and/or social psychiatry is meritorious but not a requirement.
• You collaborate, cooperate, and communicate in a professional, respectful, and positive manner.
• You have good language skills in Swedish both spoken and written, as well as computer skills.
• The position requires that you have a B driver's license for manual transmission.
• Experience working independently and with your own drive as the position partly involves working alone.
