The workplace is located at Yrkesvägen, which is a group home within LSS for people with disabilities.

The work involves providing residents support in their daily life activities, social training, and leisure activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will support, motivate, and guide the users in their homes and leisure. The work involves everything from personal care to activities outside the home, all based on individually developed action plans. All users are unique individuals with different disabilities and therefore varying needs for support from you as staff.

In addition to working with our users, you will also be responsible for maintaining the common areas of the group home, cleaning, cooking, and shopping. The work includes documentation, handling technical aids, and contact with relatives.

We have a flexible schedule where staffing is based on the needs of the users. The position involves day, evening, and weekend shifts as well as sleeping on-call duty. Solo work may occur, as well as situations involving threats and violence.

QUALIFICATIONS

The work requires that you are a responsible, secure, and attentive person with a good approach who always puts the user's needs at the center.

As a person, you are positive, engaged, and have a natural respect for other people and everyone's equal value. It is also important that you are flexible, solution-focused, and have a positive attitude towards the user's individual wishes and needs. You must be able to set clear boundaries and motivate people in different situations.

We expect you to have education and experience that the employer deems suitable for the position.

Good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

A B driver's license is a requirement.
