You will be a key person in the care team for patients with complex care needs, often related to cancer or other serious illnesses. Your mission:

• As a physician in specialized palliative care, you will be an important part of our team and responsible for providing patients with complex care needs the best possible quality of life.
• You will: Be responsible for patient care in close collaboration with nurses in the team and cooperate with other care providers.

There is an opportunity to participate in palliative rounds and contribute to the education of colleagues and care staff.

Temporary Physician in the Palliative Team in Dalarna

• Independent responsibility for medical assessments and patient care.
• Frequent contacts and close collaboration with nurses and other care providers.
• Holistic view and continuity in the patient's care planning.

Requirements:

• Licensed physician with Swedish language skills at least at level C.
• Specialist in general medicine, surgery, oncology, geriatrics/medicine, or another relevant base specialty.
• Driving license B.
• Ability to work independently.
• Empathetic, flexible, and a good team player.

Meritorious:

• Specialization in palliative medicine.
• Previous experience in palliative care.
