We are now looking for you who want to be part of our team at the broad clinic Acute/Med/Ger/Rehab at Avesta Hospital.

Avesta Hospital is a smaller county hospital with a 24/7 emergency department and three wards with a total of approximately 40 beds. We provide local healthcare for residents in southern Dalarna and northern Västmanland. Here, emergency care, medicine, geriatrics, and rehabilitation are gathered in one clinic, which provides unique opportunities for quick and effective handling throughout the care chain.

We also offer specialized outpatient care in: cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, gastroenterology, sleep medicine, and dementia investigations, as well as general internal medicine and geriatric investigations and treatments. With about 200 employees and a strong educational climate, our motto is: "Sweden's best junior doctor school" - which has contributed to our consistently high ranking in the medical placements on the AT ranking!

As an ST doctor in internal medicine with us, you will:

• Work broadly within both inpatient and outpatient care.
• Be part of a competent team with close collaboration across specialty boundaries.
• Contribute to education by supervising training doctors.
• Develop in an environment where learning and quality are at the center.

Requirements:

• Swedish medical license
• Swedish language skills corresponding to at least C1 level
• Personal qualities such as responsibility and collaboration skills are highly valued

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in internal medicine or related fields
