As a nurse in the surgical clinic in Falun, you will have the opportunity to utilize your nursing skills and develop in your role as a nurse. You will encounter a wide spectrum of surgical patients with various medical conditions and diagnoses, providing you with a broad knowledge base. Our focus areas include plastic, vascular, urology, breast, and endocrine surgery. You will gain insight into caring for severely ill and acutely ill patients both pre- and postoperatively. Nurses Surgical Clinic Ward 15 Falun

As a nurse on the surgical ward, you will be responsible for the pre- and postoperative care of patients with various acute medical conditions. We have dedicated and competent staff who take pride in the care we provide. Your responsibilities will include having a leading role in the team, overall nursing responsibility, taking samples, administering medications, and managing access points such as IVs, central lines, Piccline, subcutaneous ports, and long-term IVs. You will also manage various urinary catheters and drains. Use of medical technical equipment such as (EDA and PCA pumps) is included. We have a pharmacist who assists us on the ward.

Requirements:

• We are looking for a licensed nurse. You may be newly graduated or have previous work experience as a nurse. We ensure that you will receive an individually tailored introduction.
• Good communication skills in both spoken and written language.

Meritorious:

• Experience working with severely and acutely ill patients or experience in emergency and surgical care.
• Other relevant education or previous experience in surgical care.
