The rehabilitation is a county-wide specialist operation located in five places in Dalarna. Each unit has Children's and Youth Rehabilitation as well as Adult Rehabilitation with interdisciplinary teams with medical, psychological, social, and educational competence. The mission of the rehabilitation is to offer individuals with congenital or early-acquired disabilities combined specialist efforts to achieve the best possible functional ability and a good quality of life.

Within the rehabilitation, there is a broad competence in the area of disabilities. We have a developing and unpretentious climate, and our work environment is characterized by professionalism, learning, care, commitment, and tolerance. Placement can be discussed based on our various receptions. As a physiotherapist/sick gymnast with us, your work will be educational and varied, where teamwork with other professions is central. Our team consists of occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists/sick gymnasts, social workers, speech therapists, doctors, psychologists, nurses, special educators/special teachers, and managers.

Your tasks as a physiotherapist/sick gymnast include, in close consultation with the patient and relatives, assessing, initiating treatment, and following up on the patient's motor functions and development in the patient's various environments. You provide interventions to help the patient maintain, develop, and/or compensate for physical abilities. You assess needs and prescribe, as well as follow up on assistive devices.

Our work is carried out in close collaboration with our healthcare neighbors, municipal operations, assistance providers, relatives, and more.

Requirements:

• Physiotherapist/sick gymnast degree/license.
• Driving license B

Meritorious:

• Several years of experience
• Experience working with children and preferably within rehabilitation

You are resourceful, flexible, and have a good ability to prioritize. You have a commitment and interest in working with our target group. You enjoy working in a team, but you also have a good ability to work independently. Through your professional approach and your communicative ability, you create good relationships with both colleagues and patients and relatives, and contribute to a positive work climate. You are happy to share your knowledge and ask for help when needed. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
