Malung is a small, quiet, and safe locality in Västerdalarna with fantastic nature close by that you can enjoy throughout the year. The locality is best known for the popular Dance Band Week, which takes place here in week 29 every year and attracts people from all over Sweden and neighboring countries. The municipality has a rich association life, so there is a good chance you will find an interest that suits you. Just 60 km north lies one of Sweden's largest ski resorts, Sälenfjällen, where you can enjoy skiing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, dining at some of the best restaurants in the country, hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, and much more. The municipality also has an airport, making it easy to reach several locations in Sweden or the continent.

At the clinic, there are six treatment rooms, and currently, a dentist, a dental hygienist, four dental nurses, a clinic coordinator, and a operations manager work here.

As a dental hygienist in Malung, you will have varied tasks within the scope of a dental hygienist's competencies, working with patients of all ages and all types of treatments.

As a dental hygienist, you play an important role in our efforts to provide health-promoting and preventive dental care for all ages. You will perform examinations and identify, assess, and plan appropriate oral health interventions together with the patient, as well as in consultation with the dentist.

Together at the clinic, we are responsible for children's, adult's, and elderly dental care. We have digital X-rays and use the T4 system for scheduling, finance, and record-keeping.

Requirements:

• Dental hygienist degree and Swedish license
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driver's license B

Meritorious:

• Experience with the T4 system

This job involves direct and regular contact with children and/or young people.
