The rehabilitation service is a county-wide specialist operation located in five locations in Dalarna. Each unit includes Child and Youth Rehabilitation as well as Adult Rehabilitation with interdisciplinary teams that have medical, psychological, social, and educational expertise. The mission of the rehabilitation service is to offer individuals with congenital or early-acquired disabilities combined specialist interventions to achieve the best possible functional ability and a good quality of life.

Within the rehabilitation service, there is a broad competence in the field of disabilities. We have a developing and unpretentious climate, and our work environment is characterized by professionalism, learning, care, commitment, and tolerance. Placement can be discussed based on our various reception units. The most important thing is that we get a qualified colleague who contributes to community and performs their task with interest and commitment!

As a physiotherapist/gymnast with us, your work will be educational and varied, where teamwork with other professionals is central. Our team consists of occupational therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists/gymnasts, social workers, speech therapists, doctors, psychologists, nurses, special educators/special teachers, and managers.

Your tasks as a physiotherapist/gymnast include, in close consultation with the patient and their relatives, assessing, initiating treatment, and following up on the patient's motor functions and development in various environments. You provide interventions to help the patient maintain, develop, and/or compensate for physical abilities. You assess needs and prescribe, as well as follow up on aids.

Our work is carried out in close collaboration with our healthcare neighbors, municipal services, assistance providers, relatives, and others.

Requirements:

• Physiotherapist/gymnast degree/license.
• Driving license B

Meritorious:

• Several years of experience
• Experience working with children and preferably in rehabilitation

You are resourceful, flexible, and have a good ability to prioritize. You have a commitment and interest in working with our target group. You enjoy working in a team, but you also have a good ability to work independently. Through your professional approach and your communicative ability, you create good relationships with both colleagues and patients and relatives, and contribute to a positive work climate. You are happy to share your knowledge and ask for help when needed. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
